Keychains & Bag Charms

Who knew making keychains and bag charms would be so addictive! What started as a simple idea turned into something I genuinely look forward to sitting down and creating. There’s something calming about working with herbs and choosing each piece with intention. It slows everything down in a really quiet, grounding way.I think what I love most is how small they are, but how meaningful they can feel. Carrying something like this with you throughout the day turns it into more than just a keychain. It becomes a little reminder. A reminder to breathe, to stay present, or to hold onto whatever intention you set when you made it.
Some are made for calm and comfort, others for protection or self love, but they all come from the same place. Wanting to bring a little bit of softness and intention into everyday life. I bought all the materials needed at my local craft store and it was way easier to figure out than I first expected. I highly suggest you give it a try! Or you can purchase one of mine here.

Ritual Walks

A Quick Safety NoteChoose somewhere you know and feel comfortable walking. If you are going alone, let someone know where you are going if it is a longer walk or trail.Bring your phone, pay attention to the weather, and trust your instincts. If a place feels off or you start feeling unsafe, leave. A ritual walk does not have to mean being completely alone or going far from home. You can also do this in daylight, with your dog, or with a friend.A ritual walk is just a walk with a purpose. You might go outside to clear your head, take a break from your phone, feel more grounded, or reset after a hard day.You do not need supplies or a special place. It can be around your neighborhood, at a park, on a trail, or while walking your dog.How to Do OneBefore you go, pick one thing you want from the walk.I want to clear my head.
I need a break from overthinking.
I want to feel more present.
I want to leave work stress behind for a while.
Then just walk. You do not need to make it complicated.Tips for Ritual WalksPut your phone away.
Bring it for safety or pictures, but try not to scroll while you walk.
Pay attention to what is around you.
Notice something you can hear, smell, or see that you would normally walk past.
You do not need to collect anything.
Take a picture if something stands out, but leave flowers, rocks, and plants where they are.
A short walk still counts.
It does not have to be a long hike. Even ten minutes outside can help you reset.
Come back to the present when your thoughts start running.
Focus on your steps, your breathing, or five things you can see around you.
When You Get BackTake a minute before moving on to the next thing. Drink some water, sit outside, or write down one thing you noticed.

Protection Wreath

I made this using things I had around the yard and a few dried herbs I already keep on hand.It started as something simple to work on outside for a bit. Twisting the vines together, adding a few pieces at a time, not really overthinking it. I ended up using lavender, chamomile, and bay leaf. Remember you can always use what you have. It’s not perfect, but I think that’s part of why I like it. 🤪

Lavender & Beeswax Lotion Bar

This recipe will make one lotion bar
Ingredients
• 1 tablespoon beeswax
• 2-3 tablespoons olive oil or other carrier oil
• 5–6 drops lavender essential oil (optional)
What you will need
• Heat-safe glass jar (for melting ingredients)
• Small saucepan (for water bath / double boiler method)
• Measuring spoon (tablespoon)
• Spoon or stir stick
• Silicone mold (or any small container or mold for shaping)
Directions
1. Fill a small saucepan with a few inches of water and place a heat-safe glass jar inside to create a simple water bath (double boiler).
2. Add the beeswax to the jar and heat on low to medium heat. Allow it to melt slowly, stirring occasionally once it begins to soften.3. Once the beeswax is fully melted and clear, add the olive oil. Stir gently until everything is fully combined.4. Turn off the heat and carefully remove the jar from the pan. Let the mixture cool slightly for about 30–60 seconds.5. Stir in lavender essential oil for a soft, calming scent.6. Slowly pour the mixture into your silicone mold.7. Allow the bars to cool and harden completely at room temperature (about 1–2 hours).8. Once fully set, gently remove from the mold. Store in a cool, dry place and enjoy as needed.

Wild Violet Rituals & Uses

Every spring, my yard fills with wild violets. They show up quietly at first, then all at once, soft and scattered through the grass. It’s one of those small seasonal shifts that feels easy to miss, but once you notice them, it’s hard not to slow down and appreciate them. Wild violets have long been associated with beauty, protection, and gentle emotional healing. Their energy feels soft and grounding, making them perfect for simple, everyday rituals. Some people like to include seasonal herbs and flowers like violets in their own jars or blends, depending on what they have available.Ways to Work with Wild VioletsFor calm and emotional ease
Violets carry a naturally soothing energy. They can be added to small jars, sachets, or kept nearby as a quiet reminder to soften and slow down.
For protection and gentle boundaries
They are often used in protective blends, especially when you want something subtle rather than heavy. A softer kind of protection that feels calm instead of intense.
For self love and inner balance
Their connection to the heart makes them a beautiful addition to self love rituals, especially when paired with rose quartz or other gentle elements.
For seasonal rituals
Spring is a natural time for renewal. Violets can be used to mark that shift, helping you release what feels heavy and welcome something lighter.
Violet Beauty Ritual🌸
In some traditions, wild violets are gathered in the early morning while they’re still touched with dew. The dew is seen as a soft, renewing element, often connected to beauty, vitality, and gentle restoration.
A simple version of this is to step outside at dawn and gather a few fresh violets. You can lightly touch the dew on the petals or grass and gently press it onto your skin, setting an intention for softness, radiance, and renewal.

Inspired by earth, season, and stillness, Mountain Mooncraft offers handmade ritual pieces created with care and intention meant to support grounding, reflection, and a slower way of living.
